Mr Satan is stated to have beat Kid Buu and Cell, and Videl is stated to be stronger than him does any more need to be said?

The OP states nothing of the sort since any other incarnation of yamcha would be an utter stomp. the time period wasn't stated, except "original dragonball", but in the interest of even having a vs. match, it has to be beginning of dragonball, when he's still a desert bandit. Quote: "yamcha lost against goku, therefore he's weaker than 10" both times yamcha never lost. in the rematch he only retreated because goku hurt his face. goku had a clear advantage, the fight not being concluded doesn't stop us from seeing that goku had the upper hand. also, we'll forget about the pretty girl thing. yamcha seems to prefer girls with a bit more curves, so videl might not even affect him. that still leaves us with a match between: a street fighter with great instincts, but lacking basic training. and a fully trained martial artist, that also has extensive street fighting experience as a crime fighter. plus, she can fly. the fact is, even if yamcha does have a slight power advantage, videl has a major skill advantage, and at their level, skill is still a major factor.
